missingWrote a review on Dec 05beautiful gardensstunning viewslarge roombreakfast setupbar service
The beautiful grounds of this hotel truly stand out. I loved exploring the spacious gardens every morning. The view from the balcony was nothing short of stunning, overlooking Funchal and the mountains. The room was large with nice air-conditioning and a lovely terrace, making it perfect for relaxation. the breakfast setup could improve. the coffee machine was quite disappointing and more food options for kids would have been beneficial. The evening dining experience was lackluster, leaning more towards functional rather than enjoyable. While the location offers a peaceful escape at a higher altitude, it's a bit far from central Funchal, requiring extra planning for transport. Staff seemed helpful, but the bar was often unstaffed, requiring me to look for service. Despite the few shortcomings, the overall atmosphere made it a pleasant stay.

We loved exploring the beautiful gardens and playing billiards in the game room while our little one enjoyed the spacious room with a fantastic balcony. The breakfast was a standout, with fresh fruits, great coffee, and delicious options that kept everyone satisfied.
In my wife’s opinion, more food options for kids would be great.

Couple looking for tranquility
Staying here was quite a unique experience! The staff did their best to ensure we felt at home, even recommending local attractions and places to eat that turned out fantastic.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what you get, it’s still acceptable.

so glad we booked our stay at quinta do monte, beautiful place with excellent clean rooms and a fab view from the balcony overlooking the garden and sea. the staff were super friendly and helped us out with a kettle for our room. breakfast was amaze, so many yummy options like fresh fruits, great coffee, and tasty eggs! really loved chilling in the lovely gardens and the location was perfect for exploring.
the wifi could be better since it was only in common areas and we found the evening meals a bit boring after a few days.
